Damaso Fero kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Covunco's zone, Alberto Calisto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Haitz came out of the goal and Alberto Calisto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomiro Sengrat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Haitz having to interfere. Honorato Nicholas charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Nicholas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Los Piojos FC's Roman Franco tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Los Piojos FC's Edelmiro Tanio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Libertad in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Orlando Libertad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covunco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Libertad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Tanio having to interfere. Covunco were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Los Piojos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix Tonete took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Camilo Ticho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edelmiro Tanio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Covunco were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Piojos FC for a fine match.
