After taking down the ball on Union Industrial's corner Dionisio Llin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ciriaco Hodei quite easily take care of the ball. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Union Industrial's goalkeeper Gonzalo Muno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciriaco Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Gaitano in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Union Industrial's Gonzalo Muno got control of the ball when Ernesto Uxio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

52 minutes into the match, Gonzalitos's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Reynardo came free, but Ciriaco Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Hodei had great luck who in the 55thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ermegildo Reynardo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Freddy Ado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciriaco Hodei. That made the score 0-1 in the 56 minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Ermegildo Reynardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonzalitos's Ciriaco Hodei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciriaco Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Reynardo in the 65th minute of play. Ciriaco Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Gaitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After some careless play in the Gonzalitos defense, Freddy Ado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciriaco Hodei. The Gonzalitos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Hodei should have stopped the shot. When Wilfredo Berart came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Gonzalitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilfredo Berart couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Gonzalitos's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Reynardo came free, but Ciriaco Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Orlanda got free with Ciriaco Hodei in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ermegildo Reynardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Llin in the 88th minute of play forced Gonzalitos's goalkeeper Ciriaco Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximino Pere's late challenge caught a Union Industrial's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Pere helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gonzalitos getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Maximino Pere hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Uxio in the 94th minute of play forced Union Industrial's goalkeeper Gonzalo Muno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Union Industrial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Valerio to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Union Industrial had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
