Arnulfo Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florentino Eron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Checa in the 20th minute of play. Celso Dimas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 37 minutes into the match, A.C. SAN MARTIN's goalkeeper Florentino Eron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celso Dimas. Danilo Chan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd match minute, Chelsea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Otsando to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Chan struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Lorenzo Barea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.C. SAN MARTIN. After 45 minutes, Gervasio Hodei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chelsea FC and the A.C. SAN MARTIN players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of A.C. SAN MARTIN booed when Chelsea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervasio Hodei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anastasio Galo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Barea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lorenzo Barea made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Danilo Chan sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 55 minutes, Danilo Chan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.C. SAN MARTIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danilo Chan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Danilo Chan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C. SAN MARTIN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Anastasio Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Dimas in the 67th minute of play forced A.C. SAN MARTIN's goalkeeper Florentino Eron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Eron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Dimas in the 70th minute of play. After 73 played minutes Chelsea FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Laurgain. Arnulfo Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Florentino Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Dimas in the 80th minute of play forced A.C. SAN MARTIN's goalkeeper Florentino Eron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Barea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Galo's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Freddy Otsando got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Freddy Otsando hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A.C. SAN MARTIN were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Chelsea FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leo Bernard took the corner. The corner led A.C. SAN MARTIN's Leo Bernard to fire away a dangerous shot which Lorenzo Barea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in A.C. SAN MARTIN's zone, Celso Dimas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Eron came out of the goal and Celso Dimas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The A.C. SAN MARTIN players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Chelsea FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
