Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Teo Donostia made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Esther's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Ekialde came free, but Amado Gauargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 minutes, Eliseo Furman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esther and the Club Atlético Platense players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Esther getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Eliseo Furman hit a great ball. Club Atlético Platense's Arsenio Asier got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ekialde in the 8th minute of play forced Esther's goalkeeper Amado Gauargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, Club Atlético Platense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Incendio to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Macias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matias Montel. Club Atlético Platense's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arsenio Asier came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amado Gauargi could save by the left post. In the 18th minute, Simon Loiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Tadeo Mundo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matias Montel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Club Atlético Platense's Maximiliano Inocente made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Gauargi was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Maximiliano Inocente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Matias Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Donostia in the 39th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Asier to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Esther's Tadeo Mundo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ambrosio Guillem was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Arsenio Asier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Loiola hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 88 minutes of play, Club Atlético Platense's Arsenio Asier made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Gauargi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Asier in the 93rd minute of play forced Esther's goalkeeper Amado Gauargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Asier in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Gauargi saved Esther from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atlético Platense had won after a very even match.
