The Brealito AFC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Brealito AFC's Alejandro Sidoro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 10th match minute, Covunco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Nicholas to maneuver through the defense. Arturo Haitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jimeno Monico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Haitz having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Orlando Libertad made the kick off in the second half. Arturo Haitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Balendin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute of the match Carmelo Uhin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Haitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Orlando Libertad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Covunco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Libertad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Covunco's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Sidoro came free, but Arturo Haitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Covunco's Arturo Haitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Sidoro in the 68th minute of play. Covunco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brealito AFC the free kick. In the 90th match minute, Covunco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Nicholas to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Dacio during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hilario Soter hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Brealito AFC's Jimeno Monico got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brealito AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
