An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Dimo in the 9th minute of play forced Los Piojos FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Tanio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ciriaco Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Los Piojos FC's Adrian Honesto threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Baldomiro Sengrat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 17th minute, Nereo Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Los Piojos FC's Ciriaco Mateo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Edelmiro Tanio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Dimo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 28th minute of the match, Ciriaco Mateo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adrian Honesto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Baldomiro Sengrat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Honesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Sengrat in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Ciriaco Mateo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Piojos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Mateo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomiro Sengrat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Honesto having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Dimo in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Tanio saved Los Piojos FC from getting behind. If Jimeno Abarca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomiro Sengrat to strike the kick off in the second half. Amado Dimo struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Edelmiro Tanio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Malvinas Argentinas. If Baldomiro Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Piojos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Malvinas Argentinas the free kick. The supporters of C.A.Malvinas Argentinas booed when Los Piojos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Amado Dimo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Los Piojos FC's Damaso Fero got a free kick in the 88th minute. Amado Dimo struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jimeno Abarca managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Malvinas Argentinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Abarca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edelmiro Tanio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Los Piojos FC's Edelmiro Tanio got control of the ball when Amado Dimo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
