In the 18th minute of the match Constantino Efraim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Remigio Baumer skillfully saved the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Miguelon's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Bertran came free, but Cleto Xabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cleto Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Natal hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Constantino Efraim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Remigio Baumer. Angeles del Interior FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Florencio Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Restu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Remigio Baumer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Xabel was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Venancio Bertran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Venancio Bertran really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Angeles del Interior FC's Remigio Baumer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Brun in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of Angeles del Interior FC booed when Miguelon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Ruy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 76th minute, Florencio Restu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Florencio Restu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miguelon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Restu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Florencio Restu came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Miguelon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Restu couldn't finish the play. Remigio Baumer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Restu in the 85th minute of play. Jonathan Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguelon's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
