With 45 minutes on the clock, Tiburcio Gilen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, Elvio Panfilo, was totally fooled by Tabay's Esteve Orkatz, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when German Ponciano made the kick off in the second half.
