After 3 minutes, Ovidio Serafo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TOTO 2008 and the Tabay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the TOTO 2008 defense, Donato Pere kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romeo Erdiano. The TOTO 2008 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Erdiano should have stopped the shot. The supporters of TOTO 2008 booed when Tabay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Valery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Furman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Rioja in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Joaquin Romildo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Furman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 12 played minutes Tabay got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Joachim. After having played for 13 minutes, Alvaro Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TOTO 2008's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Cutberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubaldo Rioja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Romeo Erdiano was a little too slow when Maximiliano Valery got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Atilano Vargas's late challenge caught a Tabay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Vargas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, TOTO 2008 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Vargas to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, TOTO 2008's Ubaldo Rioja sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Furman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tabay's goalkeeper Hector Furman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Pere got free with Romeo Erdiano in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Tabay booed when TOTO 2008 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Baumer didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Alvaro Cutberto made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Tabay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Valery to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Valery kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Ovidio Serafo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Hector Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Cutberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Cutberto in the 74th minute of play forced Tabay's goalkeeper Hector Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes TOTO 2008 got a freekick which was hit by Placido Ladio. Victorino Abar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Donato Pere came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Tabay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Pere couldn't finish the play. Romeo Erdiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Pere, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidio Serafo got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Victorino Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TOTO 2008's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
