After 12 minutes of play, MICRODOSIS's Jesus Bastiaro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. If Eugenio Nahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Bastiaro struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Elvio Panfilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MICRODOSIS. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Verna's goalkeeper Elvio Panfilo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Elvio Panfilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Bastiaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

MICRODOSIS played a much better game than Verna and deserved their victory. The Verna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
