Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eustaquio Shepherd took the kick off in the first half of the match. With an all-out effort, Liebig AFC's Florentino Jax threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alejandro Palban, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Florentino Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Palban, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Clodoveo Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Panza FC's zone, Alejandro Palban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Jax came out of the goal and Alejandro Palban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anastasio Sustrai took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florentino Jax. Florentino Jax dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Alejandro Palban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Alejandro Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liebig AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejandro Palban was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Jax breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Sustrai got free with Florentino Jax in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37 played minutes Panza FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Sindo. Diego Balendin made a great header on Liebig AFC's corner, it was just that Panza FC's Florentino Jax managed to reach the ball for a save. Clodoveo Garcia's late challenge caught a Liebig AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Alejandro Palban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Shepherd in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Alejandro Palban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Panza FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Sustrai came free, but Florentino Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Panza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Florentino Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Sustrai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Darien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Mario Eguen charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Eguen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mario Eguen kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Vergaray during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicolas Vergaray hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Mario Eguen was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent.
