With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Hurko in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Darien saved Liebig AFC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Palban in the 18th minute of play forced Atletico Tongante's goalkeeper Rogelio Nayely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Nayely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Palban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atletico Tongante's Teodosio Sauveur got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anastasio Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Anastasio Sustrai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liebig AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anastasio Sustrai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Nayely breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejandro Palban struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Rogelio Nayely didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liebig AFC. Alejandro Palban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Nayely read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Bernardino Hodei's late challenge caught a Liebig AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Hodei helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Liebig AFC booed when Atletico Tongante was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Lauren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Balendin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogelio Nayely having to make a save. Mario Eguen hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Palban in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Nayely saved Atletico Tongante from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodosio Sauveur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anastasio Sustrai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Tongante's zone, Anastasio Sustrai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Nayely came out of the goal and Anastasio Sustrai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Liebig AFC defense, Teofilo Hurko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Darien. The Liebig AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Darien should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Atletico Tongante getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nicasio Cordarrell hit a great ball. Alejandro Palban struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Rogelio Nayely didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liebig AFC. Anastasio Sustrai kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 74thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Atletico Tongante's keeper Rogelio Nayely was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With a little luck, Atletico Tongante's Rogelio Nayely got control of the ball when Anastasio Sustrai tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Hurko in the 80th minute of play forced Liebig AFC's goalkeeper Santos Darien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Liebig AFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mario Eguen hit a great ball. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Tongante's goalkeeper Rogelio Nayely, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Anastasio Sustrai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 93 minutes, Aaron Carlomagno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liebig AFC and the Atletico Tongante players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Liebig AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Carlomagno. Atletico Tongante were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Liebig AFC for a fine match.
