The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Chorache got free with Cleto Mazuste in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, PORVENTOR's Quintino Bezerra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evaristo Urtzi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cleto Mazuste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Chorache got free with Cleto Mazuste in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 20 played minutes, PORVENTOR's Cirilo Azeari shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evaristo Urtzi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PORVENTOR reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Chivo F.C.'s Carolo Eleazar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cleto Mazuste. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. In the 31st minute, Rolando Rico fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cleto Mazuste, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Washington Lalu managed to get in a good position for a shot. PORVENTOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Washington Lalu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Urtzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Lalu in the 42nd minute of play. Cleto Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Rico, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Rico made a kick off. Carolo Eleazar took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cleto Mazuste. Cleto Mazuste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 56th minute, Rolando Rico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chivo F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Cleto Mazuste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Oliviero, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rolando Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Cleto Mazuste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bartolo Madaleno might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Urtzi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartolo Madaleno ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute Washington Lalu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Urtzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Oliviero hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Washington Lalus short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Evaristo Urtzi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 86th minute, Washington Lalu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Urtzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Lalu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Washington Lalu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
