With his leg Hermengildo Jaunti managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Niupi's Nestor Veto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmiro Iratzeder during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 37 played minutes Gongan got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Iratzeder. Niupi's Bartolo Erlantz got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartolo Erlantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bartolo Erlantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Leonel Gaspard struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Marcelo Gurutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gongan. In the 76th minute Leonel Gaspard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gurutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Gurutz was a little too slow when Pablo Ordono got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-2. Bartolo Erlantz scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermengildo Jaunti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gongan had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
