Casana's Cipriano Quintan got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the game, Pedro Bizen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cululú's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casana the free kick. A collision led to Cululú getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Pedro Bizen hit a great ball. Jacinto Castulo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Samuel Santana. Cululú's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 9th minute, Cipriano Quintan made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Santana. Cululú's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Cipriano Quintan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Santana having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cululú's Andres Ermano got a free kick in the 13th minute. Andres Ermano hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Casana's Cipriano Quintan got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andres Ermano kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Saverio Ramirez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Santana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cululú's Samuel Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Ayala in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match Tomas Rufio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victorio Vidal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 39th minute Cipriano Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Ayala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Samuel Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Quintan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Ugutz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victorio Vidal having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Osvaldo Luix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Casana getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Braulio Hug hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Cululú got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Bizen. Casana's Victoriano Ayala got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 70th minute of the match Pedro Bizen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pedro Bizen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 71st match minute, Cululú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Bizen to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Castulo, 72 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cipriano Quintan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Samuel Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of Casana booed when Cululú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Santana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Quintan's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Samuel Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Quintan in the 94th minute of the match. If Victoriano Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
