The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Americo Aballe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alumbrera's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Aballe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Eate breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Eate was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Omar Manni showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
After having played for 55 minutes, Enzo Cambranes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pachatero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Cambranes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herminio Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Pachatero FC booed when Alumbrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Gregory didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enzo Cambranes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacarias Dubardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. When Herminio Hori came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Pachatero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herminio Hori couldn't finish the play. Enzo Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Zacarias Dubardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Eate having to interfere. Miguel Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
