Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Sugar in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zacarias Dubardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zacarias Dubardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Geofredo in the 17th minute of the match. Ruben Martxel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Americo Aballe in the 18th minute. Americo Aballe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Ruben Martxel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Alumbrera's zone, Niceto Geofredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zacarias Dubardo came out of the goal and Niceto Geofredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, BONICH JS's Niceto Geofredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Dubardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Alumbrera fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Alumbrera's Americo Aballe looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 39 minutes into the match, Alumbrera's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Sugar came free, but Zacarias Dubardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Manni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Martxel having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Alumbrera:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BONICH JS:s goal. Zacarias Dubardo had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Justino Atarratze's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Americo Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Sugar was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Alumbrera booed when BONICH JS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Epifanio Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Epifanio Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes BONICH JS got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Domingues. Fabian Gregory was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Geofredo got free with Zacarias Dubardo in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BONICH JS's Epifanio Domingues got his second yellow card of the match in the 61st minute. The referee ordered Epifanio Domingues off the ground. Americo Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Martxel having to interfere. Omar Manni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruben Martxel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. BONICH JS's Ruben Martxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Aballe in the 79th minute of play. Americo Aballe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruben Martxel having to make a save. Ruben Martxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Guido Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Martxel having to interfere.
