Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel Vargas to make the kick off. In the 81st minute Leonel Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Arnalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Ciénega FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Vargas came free, but Donato Arnalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ciénega FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sportivo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
