Esrella Roja FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BONICH JS the free kick. After 13 played minutes Esrella Roja FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Matthew. Niceto Geofredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Niceto Geofredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BONICH JS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Geofredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruben Martxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Urtungo in the 23rd minute of play. BONICH JS's Ruben Martxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Heriberto in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Dionisio Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Martxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Ivan Heriberto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BONICH JS's Ruben Martxel. Ruben Martxel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Dionisio Cefero came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Esrella Roja FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Cefero couldn't finish the play. The Esrella Roja FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Esrella Roja FC's Ivan Heriberto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dionisio Cefero took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruben Martxel. Ruben Martxel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. BONICH JS's Ruben Martxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Heriberto in the 46th minute of play. Ivan Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Esrella Roja FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ruben Martxel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Heriberto in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by BONICH JS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivan Heriberto was slow to take the kick. During this time Esrella Roja FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ivan Heriberto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ruben Martxel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ivan Heriberto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ruben Martxel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ivan Heriberto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Ruben Martxel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carmelo Sugar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Niceto Geofredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Heriberto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ruben Martxel made a huge save. Adan Victoro kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Dionisio Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Cefero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ruben Martxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ivan Heriberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute.
