Spectators: 7188 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 100) CF La Plata's Agustin Estevon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Carlos Barto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a little luck, BONICH JS's Ruben Martxel got control of the ball when Segundo Etor tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Tomás Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the BONICH JS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Lopes couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the game, BONICH JS's Carmelo Sugar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Mero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 20th minute of the match, Agustin Estevon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ruben Martxel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. BONICH JS's Ruben Martxel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save BONICH JS from getting a goal against them. 29 minutes into the match, CF La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Geofredo came free, but Cristobal Mero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Carlos Barto could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Ruben Martxel however easily saved by the left post. Agustin Estevon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 32nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Carlos Barto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niceto Geofredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cristobal Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carmelo Sugar made a kick off. CF La Plata's Cristobal Mero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Sugar in the 53rd minute of play. CF La Plata's Carlos Barto got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Martxel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Agustin Estevon managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Estevon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruben Martxel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, CF La Plata's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carmelo Sugar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 73 played minutes CF La Plata got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Gabino. After some careless play in the BONICH JS defense, Agustin Estevon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Martxel. The BONICH JS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Martxel should have stopped the shot. After 79 minutes, Tomás Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BONICH JS and the CF La Plata players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BONICH JS's Tomás Lopes got a free kick in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, BONICH JS's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Barto came free, but Ruben Martxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
