Valentin Valentine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victorino Millan charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Millan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Massao FC booed when Chacarita AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorino Millan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chacarita AFC's Claudio Larpe got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Massao FC's Valentin Valentine in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chacarita AFC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Massao FC's Esteve Licerio got control of the ball when Enzo Terciero tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chacarita AFC's Martin Iratzeder got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Saturnino Clodio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Belmiro having to interfere. A collision led to Chacarita AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Martin Iratzeder hit a great ball. Silvio Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Harri, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Larpe to make the kick off. Claudio Larpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Larpe in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Massao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Iaki to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Larpe kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 68 minutes, Martin Iratzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacarita AFC and the Massao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Chacarita AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Martin Iratzeder hit a great ball. Edgardo Harri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Silvio Belmiro made a huge save. When Virgilio Orlondo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chacarita AFC's protests and gave Virgilio Orlondo a yellow card for diving instead. Virgilio Orlondo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Chacarita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Iratzeder to maneuver through the defense. Roman Banegas, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 81st minute Valentin Valentine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Valentin Valentine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Massao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Valentine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Belmiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Chacarita AFC's Martin Iratzeder got a free kick in the 91st minute. Edgardo Harri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Massao FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
