Braulio Argenis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Herena in the 13th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, mameluco's goalkeeper Siro Confesor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prospero Noe. After 21 played minutes mameluco got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Eli. mameluco's Siro Confesor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save mameluco from getting a goal against them. Igor Llin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siro Confesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Noe in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Igor Llin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Funcional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave mameluco the free kick. Igor Llin hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Siro Confesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Llin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Igor Llin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Confesor having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Llin to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to La Funcional getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jonas Abadie hit a great ball. If Isaac Mingo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, Isaac Mingo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Funcional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave mameluco the free kick. In the 72nd minute, Isaac Mingo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that La Funcional were the better team. La Funcional's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
