The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ernesto Mirande came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Deportivo Chamuyo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Mirande couldn't finish the play. The Deportivo Chamuyo fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Deportivo Chamuyo's Ildefonso Orkatz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 1-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Esteve Aztore elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Roque Gervaso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Lehen having to interfere. Julio Lehen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Urritz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Baltasar Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Rustic FC's Esteve Aztore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Lehen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Sebastian Sadurni's late challenge caught a Deportivo Chamuyo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Sadurni helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Rustic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Baltasar Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Chamuyo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Demario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Roque Gervaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Esteve Aztore made the kick off in the second half. Adan Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Chorache in the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Chamuyo's zone, Esteve Aztore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Lehen came out of the goal and Esteve Aztore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Chamuyo's Emilio Napier got a free kick in the 57th minute. Adan Ruisko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Demario in the 67th minute of the match. Baltasar Demario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Adan Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Frans kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Rustic FC's Julio Lehen threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Esteve Aztore, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cirilo Odon hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Filomeno Erramu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Deportivo Chamuyo's Julio Lehen didn't even have to move. The supporters of Rustic FC booed when Deportivo Chamuyo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Orkatz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
