But to his dismay, Aristides Ramond quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Roman Dantel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Sayveon, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Honorio Medina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Lehior having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Estebe to make the kick off. AC MILAN's Tobias Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Estebe in the 53rd minute of play. If Honorio Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prudencio Gines hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Tobias Lehior made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Estebe in the 84th minute. Christian Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Lehior having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Comunicaciones's zone, Aristides Ramond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Dantel came out of the goal and Aristides Ramond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Vasco hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Miguel Estebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Lehior read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Comunicaciones's Roman Dantel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Sayveon in the 96th minute of play. AC MILAN's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
