Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fail Team's Guillermo Romano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Urbano Araoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ganesha F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Guillermo Romano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafin Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Romano in the 13th minute of play. Urbano Araoz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Epifanio Benitez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ganesha F.C.. Mariano Basajaun kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Ganesha F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guillermo Romano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Romano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Serafin Matai was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 30th minute Guillermo Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ganesha F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcial Nazario was slow to take the kick. During this time Fail Team's players had a chance to rest. After 41 played minutes Fail Team got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Lain. Fail Team's Jacinto Lain got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guillermo Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacinto Lain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 49th minute of the match, but Serafin Matai made a huge save. The Fail Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ganesha F.C. were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urbano Araoz to strike the kick off in the second half. Serafin Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Lain in the 60th minute of the match. Serafin Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The Fail Team fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Fail Team's Guillermo Romano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 70th minute, Guillermo Romano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Tobias Roldan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Guillermo Romano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fail Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Romano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Matai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Jacinto Lain notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ganesha F.C.'s Serafin Matai. Serafin Matai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 81 minutes, Bernardino Bonadona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ganesha F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardino Bonadona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Guillermo Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fail Team booed when Ganesha F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Lapurdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jacinto Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fail Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Lain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Matai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fail Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
