After 3 played minutes Fail Team got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Basajaun. Jacinto Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Roman Dantel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Romano in the 9th minute of play forced Comunicaciones's goalkeeper Roman Dantel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. At last the ball reached Mariano Basajaun at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Comunicaciones. 0-1. In the 16th minute, Jonas Viator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fail Team's Jacinto Lain in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Comunicaciones's goalie prevented a goal. Jacinto Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Dantel having to interfere. Roman Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Epifanio Benitez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Marz in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Nicasio Quinton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fail Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Comunicaciones the free kick. Jacinto Lain took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Dantel. Roman Dantel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Estebe got free with Epifanio Benitez in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guillermo Romano took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Dantel. Roman Dantel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Fail Team's Guillermo Romano got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amador Txomin kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Guillermo Romano made the kick off in the second half. Christian Marz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Epifanio Benitez came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Comunicaciones's Miguel Estebe. But to his dismay, Miguel Estebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 62 played minutes, Comunicaciones's Mauro Ikatz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Epifanio Benitez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Comunicaciones reached it. In the 63rd minute, Honorio Medina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Dantel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Romano in the 68th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Fail Team got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Basajaun. 75 minutes into the match, Fail Team's Guillermo Romano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Dantel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fail Team's Epifanio Benitez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Marz in the 77th minute of play. If Honorio Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Fail Team's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Estebe came free, but Epifanio Benitez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Dantel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Romano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorio Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorio Medina might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Benitez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Medina ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Fail Team's zone, Miguel Estebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Benitez came out of the goal and Miguel Estebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Epifanio Benitez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Comunicaciones manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Fail Team to win.
