The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Fail Team's Mariano Basajaun got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Prudencio Gines had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Hechter might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Benitez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Hechter ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Fail Team getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Abel Artal hit a great ball. Prudencio Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Gines in the 13th minute of play. AC MILAN's Tobias Lehior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Romano in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Higinio Sayveon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Benitez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC MILAN's Prudencio Gines got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of AC MILAN booed when Fail Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Basajaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Sayveon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th match minute, AC MILAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Hechter to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st play minute Jacinto Lain came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tobias Lehior. 3-0. In the 45th minute, Ramon Quinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prudencio Gines to make the kick off. Prudencio Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Benitez having to interfere. After having played for 53 minutes, Aristides Ramond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC MILAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Ramond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Basajaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Sayveon in the 59th minute of play forced Fail Team's goalkeeper Epifanio Benitez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Aristides Ramond got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Fail Team getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Mariano Basajaun hit a great ball. Epifanio Benitez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Epifanio Benitez was a little too slow when Samuel Fidele got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Gines in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Benitez saved Fail Team from getting behind. If Mariano Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Fail Team could leave the field as winners, despite AC MILAN having more of the ball for most of the match.
