In the 4th minute, Libertad's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nemesio Ado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nemesio Ado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benedicto Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Sotil in the 10th minute of play. Arnoldo Rocendo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Zeledon Bonifaco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yacuy AFC's Roberto Martxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Rocendo in the 22nd minute of play. If Zeledon Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Libertad's Arnoldo Rocendo got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, Yacuy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Ioritz to maneuver through the defense. Santo Maju, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Zeledon Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Libertad's Ernesto Columbo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Martxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zeledon Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celedonio Sotil to strike the kick off in the second half. When Nemesio Ado came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Yacuy AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nemesio Ado couldn't finish the play. Zeledon Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Roberto Martxot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zeledon Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Yacuy AFC's Celedonio Sotil in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Libertad's goalie prevented a goal. 69 minutes into the game, Gervasio Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Libertad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yacuy AFC the free kick. Nemesio Ado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Cucao having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Zeledon Bonifaco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertad's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeledon Bonifaco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Martxot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benedicto Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Argina in the 75th minute of the match. Celedonio Sotil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Cucao having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yacuy AFC's Nemesio Ado got a free kick in the 78th minute. Roberto Martxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Bonifaco in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Libertad's Zeledon Bonifaco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Martxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Celedonio Sotil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yacuy AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Yacuy AFC booed when Libertad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Paez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Sotil scored 2-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benedicto Cucao, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yacuy AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
