Spectators: 7180 (Terracing: 5387, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) Domingo Belo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gogo Celino during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gogo Celino hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Benítez AFC's zone, Gabriel Loramendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Matai came out of the goal and Gabriel Loramendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Pastor Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benítez AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Lehoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pastor Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Mon having to interfere. Juan Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saverio Mon having to interfere. Benítez AFC's Aldo Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Loramendi in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Benítez AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Belo came free, but Aldo Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Barto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Saverio Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paulo Haimar fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arias y Guidi's protests and gave Paulo Haimar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arias y Guidi getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Paulo Haimar hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Honorato Ramone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saverio Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Lehoi in the 33rd minute of play. When Juan Barto came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Benítez AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Barto couldn't finish the play. Aldo Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Loramendi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Saverio Mon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Lehoi in the 59th minute of play. Gabriel Loramendi struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Aldo Matai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arias y Guidi. Saverio Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Barto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Arias y Guidi defense, Pastor Lehoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saverio Mon. The Arias y Guidi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saverio Mon should have stopped the shot. After 70 minutes of play, Arias y Guidi's Gabriel Loramendi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Matai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domingo Belo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Matai having to interfere. Pastor Lehoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Saverio Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingo Belo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Matai having to interfere. Aldo Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Belo in the 96th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
