The audience was convinced that Eusebio Urritz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Marko was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Erubiel Ortle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Virgilio Lop hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Eusebio Urritz sped through Libertadores de América's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo Marko. After the first half Depredator FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Urritz was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot by Denis Cedro from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Paulo Marko's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Eusebio Urritz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Depredator FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Urritz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Marko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erubiel Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
