Bernardino Aurken was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pinto FC's Cayetano Pereyra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Pinto FC from getting a goal against them. Pinto FC's Tiburcio Dei got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arnaldo Mede during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes El sueño del pibe BOT-u18 got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Mede. When Tiburcio Dei came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pinto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Dei couldn't finish the play. Cayetano Pereyra made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Florentino Navarro sent off a good shot on target. Jonathan Emmanuel struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bernardino Aurken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pinto FC. A collision led to El sueño del pibe BOT-u18 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Claudio Esiquio hit a great ball. Leopoldo Patrido kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Americo Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El sueño del pibe BOT-u18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Americo Lawrence was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cayetano Pereyra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Americo Lawrence went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Pinto FC's Jonathan Emmanuel in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El sueño del pibe BOT-u18's goalie prevented a goal. After 46 minutes of play Pinto FC's Tiburcio Dei was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Tiburcio Dei hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Emmanuel to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Pinto FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Navarro. If Mauro Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Lawrence in the 70th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, El sueño del pibe BOT-u18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Sazon to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Jonathan Emmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Emmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Aurken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Americo Lawrence in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cayetano Pereyra saved Pinto FC from getting behind. El sueño del pibe BOT-u18's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
