Rodolfo Rumaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elpidio Cidro was a little too slow when Teodoro Herrera got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 10th minute of the match, Edgard Cibran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elpidio Cidro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Martin Bazil struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Ciriaco Azeari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmberg. The supporters of Holmberg booed when Zeus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Balesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A collision led to Zeus getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Angelino Fidencio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zeus's zone, Israel Intxixu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Azeari came out of the goal and Israel Intxixu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Israel Intxixu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ciriaco Azeari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Rodolfo Rumaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holmberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Rumaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Azeari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Teodoro Herrera kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 60 minutes of play, Zeus's Teodoro Herrera made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Cidro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicanor Eutropio took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Cidro. Elpidio Cidro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 69th minute, one of Holmberg:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Holmberg. In the 74th match minute, Holmberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Izotz to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Benvide kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute of the match Teodosio Lano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Cidro skillfully saved the ball. Elpidio Cidro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro Herrera went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. If Rodolfo Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Israel Intxixu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodoro Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Cidro having to interfere. Angelino Fidencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Cidro having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zeus had won after a very even match.
