An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Etxeberri in the 3rd minute of play forced Holmberg's goalkeeper Elpidio Cidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Cidro made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Saturnino Gora sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Victorio Lizar from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Elpidio Cidro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Martin Bazil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodolfo Rumaldo struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Gilberto Vito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmberg. 22 minutes into the match, Marco Etxeberri dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elpidio Cidro, 1-0. In the 27th minute Evelio Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Cidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Rumaldo in the 31st minute of play forced RENGUEROS's goalkeeper Gilberto Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes, Israel Intxixu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holmberg and the RENGUEROS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Holmberg got a freekick which was hit by Israel Intxixu. Rodolfo Rumaldo took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto Vito. Gilberto Vito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rodolfo Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Vito having to interfere. In the 46th minute Martin Bazil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a little luck, RENGUEROS's Gilberto Vito got control of the ball when Martin Bazil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Oso kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, RENGUEROS's goalkeeper Gilberto Vito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Bazil. Elpidio Cidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Etxeberri, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Martin Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Bazil got free with Gilberto Vito in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raimundo Benvide lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 85th minute, Raimundo Benvide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorio Lizar didn't quite understand what happened when in the 87 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 89th minute, Emilio Ciano made a precise shot to the right of Gilberto Vito. RENGUEROS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Martin Bazil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
