Los Cerrillos's Ignacio Carlomagno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Isusko in the 42nd minute of play. Juan Argina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Carlomagno having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Evaristo Saturnin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

If Juan Argina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Juan Argina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Carlomagno was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Ramiro Emeterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Ricart having to interfere. Albano Artizar's late challenge caught a Halcon Rojo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 90 played minutes, Halcon Rojo's Alfredo Peter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ignacio Carlomagno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Halcon Rojo reached it. After 95 minutes of play, Halcon Rojo's Juan Argina made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignacio Carlomagno was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Halcon Rojo were the better team. Halcon Rojo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
