Rancheria S.A.'s Alejandro Pacorro suffered a concussion in the 58th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 59 played minutes CLUB NAUTICO ZARATE got a freekick which was hit by Siro Maria. If Froilan Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rancheria S.A.'s Osvaldo Mambru got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Laurin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Leo Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. CLUB NAUTICO ZARATE's supporters rose to their feet, but Leo Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Luar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herminio Luar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guillermo Salomone's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Leo Santana's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Herminio Luar firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Santana got free with Herminio Luar in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Rancheria S.A.'s zone, Guillermo Salomone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Luar came out of the goal and Guillermo Salomone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CLUB NAUTICO ZARATE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
