Pujol FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Enrique Errando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Quinten. Pujol FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Errando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 29 minutes into the match, Pujol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Quinton came free, but David Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Quinten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Errando in the 30th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basilio Gombal was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Pujol FC's David Quinten got control of the ball when Basilio Rojelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Herauso in the 57th minute of play forced Pujol FC's goalkeeper David Quinten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Enrique Errando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basilio Gombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ezequiel Kusko fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pujol FC's protests and gave Ezequiel Kusko a yellow card for diving instead. Octavio Frichoso hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Maximo Lain sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pujol FC's David Quinten didn't even have to move. Hector Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Cefero having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pujol FC's Hector Medardo got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Basilio Gombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pujol FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Gombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Cefero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. El Balé de Gareth's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
