Erubiel Dorio started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match, Mario Txomin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Theobald saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julio Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Txomin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 23rd minute, Erubiel Dorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florencio Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anibal Fernendo in the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Marea Roja booed when Fumatta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Vincente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Giro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Fernendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A collision led to Fumatta FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Felix Frutos hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fumatta FC's Abel Vincente got a free kick in the 31st minute. Fidel Palos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Florencio Giro. Fumatta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Marea Roja's zone, Eustacio Corderun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Theobald came out of the goal and Eustacio Corderun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute Anibal Fernendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Giro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Txomin made a kick off. Anibal Fernendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Giro having to interfere. Julio Theobald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Txomin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marea Roja's Julio Theobald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Txomin in the 57th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Fidel Palos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marea Roja and the Fumatta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 59 minutes into the game, one of Marea Roja:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 63rd minute, Anibal Fernendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 68 minutes, Felix Frutos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fumatta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Frutos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Mario Txomin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eustacio Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fumatta FC's Mario Txomin got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anibal Fernendo got free with Florencio Giro in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Txomin in the 86th minute of play forced Marea Roja's goalkeeper Julio Theobald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Fernendo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Eustacio Corderun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Julio Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Theobald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Txomin, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Mario Txomin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Marea Roja's Julio Theobald. Julio Theobald was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Fumatta FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
