Julio Theobald was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Marea Roja's zone, Anier Baumar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Theobald came out of the goal and Anier Baumar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Cuervos de Ituzaingo's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Dorio came free, but Alvaro Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Nerio having to interfere. Aquiles Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Theobald having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Aquiles Luke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Theobald. Marea Roja's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Luke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 40 minutes, Aquiles Luke made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Marea Roja's Julio Theobald tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Marea Roja getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Robustiano Gabirel hit a great ball. Cuervos de Ituzaingo's Anier Baumar got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Cuervos de Ituzaingo were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Aquiles Luke made the kick off in the second half. Julio Theobald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Luke in the 51st minute of the match. Aquiles Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Theobald having to interfere. Aquiles Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Marea Roja's Julio Theobald got control of the ball when Anier Baumar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aquiles Luke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Julio Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Marea Roja's zone, Anier Baumar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Theobald came out of the goal and Anier Baumar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Aquiles Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervos de Ituzaingo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Luke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquiles Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Anier Baumar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Theobald was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Cuervos de Ituzaingo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
