Belgrano de p.i's Zacarias Berdaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano de p.i from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Belgrano de p.i's Julian Cordearo got a free kick in the 46th minute. Gogo Medero struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Zacarias Berdaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Lorenzo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evelio Sanchez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th play minute Marciano Godoy came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fulgencio Haritzeder. 1-1. Gogo Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zacarias Berdaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Berdaitz having to interfere. Angelino Oidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Berdaitz having to interfere. Marciano Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Haritzeder having to interfere. Belgrano de p.i's Zacarias Berdaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Maureo in the 74th minute of play. Angelino Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81stth minute of the game Gogo Medero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgrano de p.i's Zacarias Berdaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Fulgencio Haritzeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marciano Godoy. Gogo Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo's zone, Evelio Sanchez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Haritzeder came out of the goal and Evelio Sanchez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
