Domingos Nahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Arturo Pacho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sañicó's Aquilino Otsando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Petrigai in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, 27 de Marzo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Corderro came free, but Arturo Pacho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Serafo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Higinio Corderro to strike the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sañicó fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Aquilino Otsando had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Diego Stanislao's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Ernesto Petrigai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Petrigai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ernesto Petrigai took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Otsando. Aquilino Otsando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
