In the 8th minute Felix Florian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Orti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Pabla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Quilmes A. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Rioja came free, but Laureano Valery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Orti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Florian, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Laureano Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Rioja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Orti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Handi in the 27th minute of the match. Rodrigo Pabla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Laureano Valery when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Siro Handi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anastasio Orti was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rodrigo Pabla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Laureano Valery made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Florian made a kick off. Marciano Rioja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Orti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Florian, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Rodrigo Pabla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laureano Valery read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Felix Florian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilmes A. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Florian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Handi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Pabla in the 66th minute of play forced Quilmes A. C.'s goalkeeper Laureano Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marciano Rioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute Marciano Rioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Handi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Rodrigo Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiyuyoc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Felix Florian scored to the left of an out of position Anastasio Orti, making the score, 1-3. Laureano Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Pabla in the 89th minute of play. Ezequiel Lucian hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Quilmes A. C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Quilmes A. C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
