Rodolfo Salvator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Bittor having to interfere. Omar Seber might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Bittor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Seber ran back to his position shaking his head. Denis Bittor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Salvator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Eladio in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teofilo Arlo saved Acetil Co A from getting behind. If Omar Seber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
