Anastasio Orti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Iztal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Luar charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Luar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Christian Luar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ahrenfeld's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Luar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Orti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Pabla struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Maximo Mino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chiyuyoc. Ildefonso Iratxo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Marciano Rioja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiyuyoc's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Rioja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Mino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute, Christian Luar fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anastasio Orti, passed just outside the right post. Ildefonso Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Tomas Avellaneda fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chiyuyoc's protests and gave Tomas Avellaneda a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Avellaneda hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Hugo Maurino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Arias hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Christian Luar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasio Orti was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Anastasio Orti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Iztal in the 36th minute of the match. Christian Luar might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasio Orti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Luar ran back to his position shaking his head. Hugo Maurino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Anastasio Orti made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Marciano Rioja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiyuyoc's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Rioja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Mino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marciano Rioja to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Ildefonso Iratxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ahrenfeld and the Chiyuyoc players grew even worse after the yellow card. 60 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Salomone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anastasio Orti. Chiyuyoc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Salomone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Christian Luar scored 2-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anastasio Orti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isaias Iztal took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anastasio Orti. Anastasio Orti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Christian Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Isaias Iztal came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Ahrenfeld fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Iztal couldn't finish the play. After 75 played minutes Chiyuyoc got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Orti. If Isaias Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Isaias Iztal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anastasio Orti was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Hugo Maurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Orti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Iztal, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Rodrigo Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Chiyuyoc booed when Ahrenfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Avellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Anastasio Orti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugo Maurino's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Isaias Iztal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
