Diego Abilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Gonza, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. CA La Juanita's Victor Frasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Cambranes in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Feliciano Gonza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Abilio. Manchester City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Gonza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 27th minute Denis Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Frasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Frasco having to interfere. Juan Iaki hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gerardo Lauro kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Gerardo Lauro charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerardo Lauro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 40 played minutes, CA La Juanita's Gogo Rey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Diego Abilio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA La Juanita reached it. In the 44th minute of the match Higinio Geleberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Abilio skillfully saved the ball. Diego Abilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Gonza in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Siro Frisco made a kick off. After a rather tough play, CA La Juanita's Moises Aznaro got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Cornelio Grabiel, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 66thth minute of the game Bernardino Jerardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA La Juanita's Victor Frasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denis Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Frasco having to interfere. Gogo Rey charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gogo Rey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 71 minutes, Siro Frisco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA La Juanita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Frisco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Frisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Diego Abilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fausto Bazil fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA La Juanita's protests and gave Fausto Bazil a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CA La Juanita getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Fausto Bazil hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as CA La Juanita's Siro Frisco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diego Abilio. That made the score 1-2 after 82 minutes of play. Juan Iaki hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Denis Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Victor Frasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CA La Juanita walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
