But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Umbruso couldn't finish the play. After having played for 21 minutes, Aureliano Aznaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Porve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Aznaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Sasoin might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Mincho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Sasoin ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot by Denis Abeitia from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Diego Gonza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A hard shot 46 in the game by Teobaldo Umbruso from a close distance when the talented Diego Gonza managed to make a qualified save. ddx's players were relieved. The supporters of El Porve booed when ddx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Porve were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after ddx's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Denis Abeitia took the corner. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 59 played minutes ddx got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Urbasa. Aureliano Aznaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Gaitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Severiano Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of ddx booed when El Porve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Eduino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Teobaldo Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of El Porve booed when ddx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Urbasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, El Porve's Silvio Eduino got a free kick in the 89th minute. Teobaldo Umbruso struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Diego Gonza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Porve. If Christian Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chants of ddx echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as El Porve had held the ball for most of the match.
