Benedicto Cuartio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Mincho having to interfere. In the 16th minute, one of El Porve:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El Porve. Severiano Mincho went to the wrong direction when Gregorio Pueblo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Esteban Oriche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Aznaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severiano Mincho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teobaldo Umbruso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteban Oriche having to make a save. Benedicto Cuartios short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Severiano Mincho to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Aznaro was the one to do the kick off.
