When Norberto Rico came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the La Academia del Coco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Rico couldn't finish the play. 24 minutes into the game, Bernardino Nayely was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores de CHEVROLET's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Academia del Coco the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Defensores de CHEVROLET was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Nayely to maneuver through the defense. In the 27thth minute of the game Norberto Rico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores de CHEVROLET's Gaspar Ticho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. La Academia del Coco's Santiago Txartiko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save La Academia del Coco from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, La Academia del Coco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Egun to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Hitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Txartiko having to interfere. La Academia del Coco's Santiago Txartiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Tuste in the 63rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Angelo Tuste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angelo Tuste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Txartiko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
