Maximiliano Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Evis in the 20th minute of play. Maximiliano Lauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Evis in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, Santa Rosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Regis to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Tono took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cleto Romero. Cleto Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Evis to make the kick off. Maximiliano Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejandro Evis, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Gabriel Regis charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Regis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91stth minute of the game Cipriano Tono who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Majaditas's Cleto Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Alejandro Evis came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Majaditas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Evis couldn't finish the play. The Santa Rosa supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Santa Rosa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
