Baldomiro Hulberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cipriano Manni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Hulberto ran back to his position shaking his head. After 28 played minutes Langoni FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Tabby. In the 29th minute, Constantino Sabino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jockey Club Salta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Conrado Cresitobalo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Sabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Baldomiro Hulberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Langoni FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Hulberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano Manni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jockey Club Salta FC's Modesto Felipillo pulled a muscle in his leg after 35 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Hulberto during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jockey Club Salta FC booed when Langoni FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Hulberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conrado Cresitobalo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ivan Pueblo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Cipriano Manni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Hulberto in the 64th minute of play. When Baldomiro Hulberto came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Langoni FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Hulberto couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Chayo got free with Conrado Cresitobalo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baldomiro Hulberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Manni having to interfere. Ezequiel Ovando kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ivan Pueblo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Conrado Cresitobalo made a huge save. Langoni FC's Baldomiro Hulberto got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Baldomiro Hulberto put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Cipriano Manni. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Langoni FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
