One of Lagunilla:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cha:s goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lagunilla's zone, Omar Brion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Montrell came out of the goal and Omar Brion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute, Omar Brion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Brion in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Montrell saved Lagunilla from getting behind. Filiberto Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Azubeli having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Guido Ugaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cha's Raul Azubeli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Cha from getting a goal against them. Cha's Raul Azubeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Oliveiro in the 34th minute of play. When Fausto Oliveiro came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Lagunilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Oliveiro couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Filiberto Enaut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lagunilla fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Brion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filiberto Enaut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Azubeli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Raul Azubeli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Oliveiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Nestor Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Cha's Vinicio Sanchez tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Gabriel Hitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Artal in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baldomero Montrell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Cha's zone, Filiberto Enaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Azubeli came out of the goal and Filiberto Enaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Enaut got in the 69th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Raul Azubeli handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Filiberto Enaut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Azubeli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 77th minute Fausto Oliveiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Oliveiro in the 78th minute of play forced Cha's goalkeeper Raul Azubeli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Cha's Santo Torres got a free kick in the 79th minute. Baldomero Montrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Artal in the 88th minute.
